ME AI CCTV MONITORING

Cameras that call for help instead of just recording it

Ordinary CCTV tells you what happened after you have already lost something. ME AI CCTV Monitoring watches the same feeds continuously, recognises the situations that matter — theft at a counter, a fight, fire or gas, someone where they should not be — and alerts you with the frame and clip attached, with police and emergency numbers one tap away.

From recording incidents to preventing them

The cameras stay the same. What they are worth changes.

01

Alerted in seconds, not on review

Detection runs on the live feed. You get a notification with the frame and a short clip while it is still happening, which is the whole difference between stopping a loss and documenting one.

02

Emergency help without hunting for a number

A confirmed emergency puts the police, fire and ambulance numbers and your own escalation contacts one tap away, with the location detail and the clip ready to share.

03

The routine work done for you

Entry and exit times, occupancy, opening and closing checks — all recorded automatically from footage you were already storing, with no register for anyone to fill in later.

What it catches early

Detection only helps if it happens before the damage. These are the signals the platform acts on, and most of them appear well before anything visible goes wrong.

  • A person entering a restricted area, or entering at all outside opening hours.
  • Sudden aggressive movement between two or more people — a scuffle, before it becomes a fight.
  • Smoke or flame in frame, and movement around a cylinder area consistent with a gas emergency.
  • Someone waiting beside a parked vehicle, a shutter or a cash point far longer than anyone waiting normally does.
  • An item leaving a counter or shelf while the person behind the counter is turned away or held in conversation.
  • A hotel room door that has not opened for an unusually long stretch, with no food order and no housekeeping activity.
  • A table clearing at a restaurant and the party leaving without passing the billing point.
  • A camera being covered, sprayed, moved or going dark — the first move in most planned thefts.
  • A crowd forming where a crowd does not normally form.
  • A vehicle blocking a fire exit, or parked in one spot far longer than expected.

How it works: defence in depth

Threats are stopped at every stage by multiple integrated layers. A single control that can be bypassed is not protection — layers are, because an attacker has to defeat all of them without tripping any.

  1. Camera health

Every feed is checked continuously. A camera that is offline, blurred, covered or repositioned raises an alert on its own, because unmonitored footage is worth the same as no footage.

  2. Scene understanding

Each frame is assessed for people, vehicles, objects and movement — where they are, how long they have been there, and whether that combination is normal for that camera at that hour.

  3. Situation detection

Patterns are matched to the situations you asked for: theft at a counter, physical aggression, fire and gas, restricted-area entry, loitering, crowding, unattended objects.

  4. Confirmation

A candidate event is checked against context — time of day, zone, recent activity — before it reaches you. An alert you learn to ignore is worse than no alert at all.

  5. Alert and escalation

You receive the frame and clip immediately. Confirmed emergencies escalate through your own contact chain and put police and emergency numbers one tap away with the clip attached.

  6. Evidence retention

Every alert keeps its clip, timestamp and camera reference together, so an insurance claim or a police complaint is a download rather than an evening spent scrubbing footage.

Capabilities

Everything the platform covers, grouped by what it does.

Threat and emergency detection

  • Theft and shoplifting behaviour detection
  • Fight and physical-aggression detection
  • Fire, smoke and gas-emergency detection
  • Intrusion and restricted-area entry detection
  • Loitering and suspicious-waiting detection
  • Camera tampering, covering and blackout detection
  • Unattended-object and crowd-forming detection

Alerting and escalation

  • Instant alert carrying a still image and a video clip
  • One-tap police and emergency-number escalation
  • Escalation chain across owner, manager and guard
  • Delivery by app, WhatsApp and email
  • Alert acknowledgement, so an unactioned alert is visible rather than assumed handled
  • Every alert stored with its clip, time and camera reference

Operations and attendance

  • Automatic entry and exit times per person
  • Late-arrival, early-departure and absence summaries
  • Occupancy and footfall counting by hour
  • Opening and closing checks
  • Zone-level activity reporting
  • Daily and weekly summaries by email

Deployment

  • Works with existing IP and analogue cameras through your DVR or NVR
  • On-premise processing available where footage must not leave the site
  • No rewiring: feed assessment, configuration and tuning are included
  • Per-camera and per-zone rules, so a parking camera and a till camera behave differently
  • Retention configured to your own policy and local requirements

Where it is deployed

The same platform, tuned per site. These are the setups it is asked for most.

Homes and residential

Forced entry, fights, gas and fire emergencies, and activity around entrances and parking — alerted with the clip and emergency numbers ready. Useful precisely at the times nobody is watching a screen.

Offices and gyms

Entry and exit times recorded automatically for staff and members, so attendance stops being a register that can be filled in afterwards. Plus after-hours entry, restricted-room access and equipment-area incidents.

Shops and retail counters

The common loss is not a smash-and-grab. It is a customer keeping the owner in conversation while goods quietly leave the counter. Counter and shelf zones are watched for exactly that: an item moving while attention is elsewhere.

Restaurants and cafés

A table that clears and leaves without passing the billing point raises an alert with the clip and the table reference — so an unpaid bill is known in the moment rather than discovered at closing.

Hotels and guest houses

A room with no door activity for an unusually long period and no food or housekeeping order is flagged for a welfare check. Nobody stays that long without eating, and noticing it early has saved lives.

Warehouses and parking

Loading-bay activity outside scheduled hours, vehicles lingering, fire exits blocked, and movement in aisles when the site should be empty.

What this does and does not promise

  • This is monitoring of premises you own or manage. We do not deploy it to watch individuals elsewhere, and we do not offer face-based identification of members of the public.
  • Recording people carries obligations. Visible notice at every entrance, a stated retention period, restricted access to footage and a lawful purpose are conditions of the service rather than optional extras — and where staff are monitored, telling your staff is part of it.
  • Detection is an indication, never proof. A confirmed emergency should still be verified by a person before police or fire services are called, and the platform is built so that verification takes seconds.
  • Accuracy depends on camera placement, lighting and angle. Part of setup is telling you which cameras cannot support which detection, rather than quietly under-delivering on them.
  • Attendance timing is derived from footage for operational use. It is not presented as a tamper-proof biometric record.

Questions we get asked

Do I need to replace my cameras?
Usually not. Most existing IP and analogue setups work through your current DVR or NVR. We assess the feeds first and tell you plainly which cameras need repositioning or replacing to support the detections you actually want.
Does the footage leave my premises?
Only if you want it to. Processing can run on-premise, with only alerts and their clips leaving the site. For sites with a policy against video leaving the building, that is the default configuration.
How do the police get called?
Not automatically. A confirmed emergency puts the number, the location detail and the clip in front of the person you nominate, one tap from calling. An automated call that turns out to be a false alarm costs you credibility with the people you will need next time.
Will I be flooded with alerts?
No, and that is the main tuning job in the first fortnight. Rules are set per camera and per zone, candidate events are confirmed against context before reaching you, and anything you mark as noise adjusts the rule instead of being quietly ignored.
Can it tell me who someone is?
No. It reports what happened, where and when, with the clip. We do not offer facial identification of the public — that is a different product with different legal obligations, and it is not what stops a loss.
Is staff attendance monitoring allowed?
With notice, yes, and notice is required by us. Your staff must know monitoring is in place and what it is used for. We will not set up covert surveillance of staff.
